Area Manager - Retail
Furniture & Mattress Stores
Reporting to the President/Owner, the General Manager, (GM) will be responsible for the day-to-day store operations of the showrooms multiple stores and have primary responsibility for meeting the sales plan. The GM will lead, coach mentor and guide the store management teams including the protection of company assets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Retail Management, or Business Administration
- 7 plus years progressive experience in a retail environment preferably in big-ticket within the Furniture - Mattress or Appliance store sales environments.
- Experience managing and coaching a team in a fast-paced environment and attaining your sales targets.
Great New England location - willingness to relocate
